Terms and Conditions (Terms of Service)
1) Acceptance of Terms
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of ApplySonic’s website, services, and any related tools, forms, or communications (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2) What ApplySonic Does
ApplySonic provides job application help and job search support. Depending on what you choose, our offerings may include:
- Done-for-you job applications: our team submits job applications on your behalf.
- Resume support: formatting, edits, and guidance to create an ATS-friendly resume.
- Messaging support: help with application answers, cover letters, outreach templates, and follow-ups.
- Interview readiness: basic prep guidance and suggested talking points (when offered).
The Service may change over time as we improve and add features.
3) Your Authorization (When We Apply for You)
If you use any “done-for-you” or “apply for me” features, you authorize ApplySonic to act as your agent for the limited purpose of preparing and submitting job applications using the information you provide.
What you agree to provide
- Accurate information about your work history, education, skills, and preferences.
- Any documents you want used (resume, portfolio links, etc.).
- Instructions about what to apply to (job titles, locations, industries) and any “do not apply” exclusions.
Important limits
- ApplySonic is not an employer, recruiter, staffing agency, or job board.
- We do not guarantee interviews, offers, or employment outcomes.
- Some applications may require additional user action (e.g., assessments, email verification, or employer portals).
Account credentials
If part of the Service requires access to third-party accounts, you are responsible for any credentials you share and for complying with the terms of those third parties. We recommend using the safest available method of access whenever possible.
4) Your Responsibilities
You agree that you will:
- Use the Service for lawful purposes only.
- Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information.
- Review and approve key materials or details when requested.
- Comply with third-party terms (e.g., job boards and employer application sites).
You are responsible for how you represent yourself to employers and for decisions you make based on the Service.
5) Payments, Subscriptions, and Refunds
If the Service includes paid plans, you agree to pay the fees shown at checkout (including any applicable taxes). Fees, plan terms, and billing frequency may vary by offer and may change over time.
Refunds
Refund eligibility (if any) depends on the plan or offer you purchased and may be described at checkout or in a separate policy. If no refund policy is provided, purchases are considered final to the maximum extent permitted by law.
6) Third-Party Sites and Employers
The Service may interact with third-party websites (including employer sites, job boards, and application systems). ApplySonic does not control and is not responsible for third-party content, decisions, availability, or policies.
Employers and platforms can change requirements at any time. You agree that ApplySonic is not liable for third-party actions, rejections, delays, or system issues.
7) Disclaimers (No Guarantees)
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. ApplySonic makes no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
- No guarantee of results: we do not guarantee interviews, job offers, or employment.
- Market factors: hiring decisions are made by employers and depend on many factors outside our control.
- Informational support: career guidance is general and may not fit every situation.
8) Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ApplySonic and its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or opportunities, arising from or related to your use of the Service.
To the extent liability is not otherwise excluded, ApplySonic’s total liability for any claim will be limited to a partial refund of the fees you paid for the specific Service giving rise to the claim, as determined by ApplySonic in its reasonable discretion. If you paid nothing for the Service, ApplySonic will have no liability to you.
9) Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. ApplySonic may suspend or terminate access to the Service if we believe you violated these Terms, used the Service unlawfully, or created risk for ApplySonic or others.
10) Intellectual Property
ApplySonic retains all rights in the Service, including branding, design, and content we create, except for materials you provide. You retain ownership of your personal information and your original documents. You grant ApplySonic a limited license to use your materials solely to provide the Service to you.
11) Privacy
Your use of the Service is also subject to our Privacy Policy (if published). In general, we use information you provide to deliver job application help, submit applications on your behalf (if applicable), and improve the Service.
12) Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes, claims, or causes of action arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Georgia, and you consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in such courts.
13) Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last Updated” date above will change when we do. Your continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
